Title: Somber

Seeping steadily 'midst my soul
the world is shades of blue
The eyes of friends are black as coal,
their poison breath a crimson hue

Spiders legs ascend my spine;
I contemplate the fallen mass
Shakily I walk the line
between far hope and shattered glass

Broken windows, shutters drawn
crystal daggers wrought from pain
light from within them all but gone
What once was naught will be again

i like it, nice rhyming, but what is it about exactly?

generally about the how people are slowly decaying because of the original sin of humanity. I'm watching it happen to people I know and care about.
